What's In Your Pocket?

I often put the mail key in my pocket and walk with the kids to the mailbox and around the block. The problem is, often I forget to put it back where it goes, so the key temporarily gets lost till I fish through all my pockets.

I asked Leif yesterday if I could borrow his mail key because our box hadn't been checked for several days due to the aforementioned situation. He told me he left his key on the hook for me. When I got home, this is what I found:

And speaking of losing things, "we" lost Paige's baby blanket a few months ago. She was very attached to that thing. I went to buy a replacement and the store no longer sold that style, so I bought a similar version that she did not like.

I was very sad that my girl wouldn't have her baby blanket as a keepsake for the rest of her life. Anyway, today at the gym I noticed a lost-and-found box in the corner, and guess what was peeking out the top? Yep. That was a very happy way to start my day. I'm not even sure I'm going to give it back to Paige or if it will go straight into a keepsake box. I don't really trust myself to keep track of that thing otherwise, and it's way bigger than a key.

So if you have something precious you don't want to lose, then don't let me borrow it. I'm really good at keeping secrets though, so you can tell me as many of those as you like.
