1st Day of Kindergarten

We survived! With no tears, mind you. I was so brave. I realized last night that the first two days of school are only half days and we have Friday off, so I really don't need to fret till Monday, when I actually have to send Gavin with a lunch and won't see him for 6 1/2 hours. Here was our fun morning send-off:

He did great. 

I don't know why his hair is weird, but it is. Huh. I'll try a different style tomorrow.

The rest of our day:

--helped Heather teach her turbo kick class

--swam at Jennifer's

--went to an elder's quorum presidency BBQ without Leif, who had a flood call

--heard Grandma Jepson got to come home from the hospital (she went in Saturday for severe dehydration and a severe bladder infection)
